Five Star Visit Britain award for Fell End Caravan Park

Lancashire based entrepreneur and owner of Pure Leisure Group, John Morphet, received Five Star Visit Britain status today for Fell End Caravan Park, near Milnthorpe in the Southern Lake District.

Mr Morphet, one of the highest profile figures in the UK caravan holiday home industry, accepted the award from County Councillor Sarah Fishwick and Lancaster Tourism Manager Jim Trotman.

"We work hard to attain a high level of quality, cleanliness, comfort and efficiency at all our parks," said Mr Morphet.

"We understand what caravaning holidaymakers expect from our parks across the UK and aspire to offer quality facilities of the highest standard and a very welcoming and comfortable environment for our visitors."

For parks to attain five star status, everything - cleanliness of all on-site facilities, the site layout, restaurants, showers, toilets, décor, fixtures and fittings etc - has to be inspected by Visit Britain.
